About SharewareOutlet.com

OuiSoft (The parent company of SharewareOutlet.com) was formed in June, 1999, for the purpose of purchasing the rights to a software program called OUI. OUI stands for Offline Usenet Interface.

My name is Ed Pulliam, I am the president of OUISoft. I live in Janesville, Wisconsin, USA. My partners and I started OuiSoft to continue the distribution and further development of OUI after the former owners had determined that they lacked the resources and time to continue the development and support of the program. We also wanted to offer other hardware, software, and computer related products to our web visitors.

In mid 2001 we began offering Web Hosting and Web Design services. We offer various Hosting options, depending on our client's needs, and our design services range from the simple web site for a few hundred dollars, to the most complex web-commerce or database driven web sites.

In October, 2002, OUISoft entered a distribution agreement to offer additional high quality shareware programs.  We currently offer over two dozen software products, all for home or small office/home office (SOHO) use.

In December, 2002, we launched this site, SharewareOutlet.com, to feature these software programs, and to further promote the highest quality programs that have the shareware (try before you buy)  distribution system.
